On May 14, The League hosted a Financial Institutions Against Human Trafficking (F.I.G.H.T.) Roundtable, uniting leaders from financial institutions, law enforcement, and advocacy groups to strengthen efforts to detect and prevent human trafficking. Samantha Beeler emphasized the industry’s vital role in identifying suspicious activity and supporting survivors with inclusive financial services. The event underscored the need for continued cross-sector collaboration, which will be further explored at ENGAGE in Orlando, June 10–13.

This initiative provides tailored resources to help small credit unions navigate industry challenges and thrive. Offerings include online training, personalized consultations, a collaborative online network, and networking events. By fostering collaboration and delivering essential tools, the office empowers small credit unions to grow, adapt, and continue serving their communities.
