The League provides a platform for advocacy, collaboration, and innovation, representing credit unions in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.

Who is The League?

The League serves as an advocate through credit union engagement, advocacy impact, Foundation resources, and LEVERAGE products and services.

The League was founded in 2009 through the merger of the Alabama Credit Union League and the Florida Credit Union League. In 2019, the Georgia Credit Union League became part of the organization, followed by the Virginia Credit Union League in 2025.

LEVERAGE, the service corporation for The League, is the business services provider that leverages credit union system resources, relationships, and industry knowledge for optimal performance and sustained growth of its clients and business partners. LEVERAGE works to offer credit unions best-in-class products and services that result in reducing costs, maximizing results, and making the biggest impact.

The Credit Union Impact Foundation is the charitable engine of The League, driving meaningful changes for credit unions through strategic support, disaster resilience, and community development.
