Leadership Journey Scholarship
Honoring a Legacy of Leadership, Compassion, and Service
Kelsie Davis was more than a respected colleague in the credit union industry — she was a guiding light, mentor, and friend whose leadership and compassion touched everyone she met. Her dedication to helping others, unwavering support of credit unions, and belief in the power of “People Helping People” continue to inspire us.
To honor her memory and carry forward her legacy of leadership and service, the Credit Union Impact Foundation established the Kelsie Davis Memorial Leadership Journey Scholarship, a two-year professional development opportunity designed to invest in emerging leaders within the credit union movement.
The Leadership Journey
Each year, five recipients are selected to begin a two-year leadership development journey supported by the scholarship.
Year One – 2027
Recipients receive registration to:
- EMERGE
- Leadership College
Year Two – 2028
Recipients receive registration to:
- Executive Institute
The scholarship covers registration fees only. Travel, lodging, and other related expenses are not included.
Eligibility
Applicants should be Emerging Professionals who demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to the credit union philosophy, and a passion for serving their members and communities.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have at least three years of employment with their credit union.
- Be nominated by their CEO or another senior leader.
- Demonstrate the potential and desire to grow into future Vice President, C-Suite, or other senior leadership roles within the credit union movement.
2027 Scholarship Application
The Kelsie Davis Memorial Leadership Journey Scholarship is a competitive program, with five two-year scholarships awarded annually.
Applicants selected during this cycle will participate in EMERGE and Leadership College in 2027 and Executive Institute in 2028.
