Financial Education Resource Guide

Financial education is at the heart of the credit union movement and an important way credit unions can help members and communities build greater financial well-being.

With so many financial education tools and programs available, finding the right resource for your credit union can be challenging. The Credit Union Impact Foundation created the Financial Education Resource Guide to help League-affiliated credit unions explore and compare programs that can support their financial education and community outreach efforts.

The guide brings together a variety of resources—from classroom curriculum and interactive reality fairs to digital learning platforms and ongoing member financial wellness tools. Each program profile includes information about target audiences, topics covered, delivery formats, pricing, implementation considerations, available materials, and League-affiliated credit unions currently using the program.

Use the guide as a starting point to explore available options and identify resources that align with your credit union’s goals, audience, budget, and community needs.

Help Us Grow the Guide

Financial education is constantly evolving, and we want this guide to evolve with it.

If your credit union is using a financial education program that isn’t currently included in the guide, we want to hear from you! Sharing the tools that are working in your community can help other credit unions discover new ways to engage members, partner with schools and community organizations, and expand their financial education efforts.

We also welcome submissions from organizations that offer financial education resources that may benefit League-affiliated credit unions. Programs submitted for consideration should support financial capability, financial wellness, or personal finance education; be available for use by credit unions or their members; and have an established organization responsible for ongoing program support.

To recommend a program for consideration in a future edition of the guide, please email cuif@the-league.coop with information about the resource.

Together, we can continue building a resource that reflects the great financial education work happening across our credit union community.
