Shifting from Manager to Leader: 3 Critical Skills

The need for a credit union to possess a deep bench of highly capable leaders has never been more urgent and important.

  • In a time where employee engagement, which directly impacts both Member Experience and productivity, is at a low point it is critical to understand that at least 70% of an employee’s engagement is directly attributable to their immediate managers ability to lead. (Gallup)
  • 71% of organizations report a significant gap between the leadership skills needed and those currently available within their management teams. (Center for Creative Leadership)

The question is not if we need leadership skills for our credit union to survive, the question is how.  In the webinar Shifting from Manager to Leader: 3 Critical Skills led by Mike Neill you will learn:

  • The three primary challenges that inhibit managers from developing into leaders and how to overcome them.
  • The three most critical skills need by credit union managers most positively corelated to high performance.
  • How to consistently and effectively upskill you managers to become leaders.

Additionally, we will have a Q&A to address specific challenges you may want to address. The webinar will be recorded so you can share it with your entire leadership team or if your schedule does not allow you to participate in person.
