Compliance

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have formally withdrawn their October 2023 joint statement addressing the consideration of immigration status in credit decisions under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. The withdrawal was published in the Federal Register and is intended to clarify regulatory expectations for creditors.

Foundation

Join the Credit Union Impact Foundation’s Friends of the Foundation program to strengthen disaster resilience, credit union growth, & community impact. Credit unions can add the program to their Field of Membership, offering members access to benefits like financial wellness tools, volunteer opportunities, & engagement in the “People Helping People” movement.
